The team at CTS have been swotting up on their general knowledge because one of their more colourful new products is the PDA quiz. It uses a wireless LAN connection to a number of PDA’s, so that players can record their answers and see the results displayed instantly, as they are sent in real time to the central terminal, and can be displayed on a large screen if required. Recently used as a stand attraction on the Metro Stand at the Mobile Life Event at Earls Court 2 on 13-15 June, the quiz was a highly popular attraction, over 1,000 players took part, all vying to win the top prize, one year’s worth of free travel, provided by the London Underground. Joanne English, Brand Events said, “The PDA is a brilliant application of cutting-edge technology, it is fun, interactive and really useful as well! “ In May CTS provided the quiz for the annual aeo Quiz Night, which took place in Po Na Na in Hammersmith, where 400 of the exhibition industry’s brainiest battled it out. Over 30 separate PDA’s were provided, one for each team, and the teams were able to challenge each other in real time causing the temperature to really mount as the results were displayed after every question. Congratulations to “ The Wembley Wonders” who came top out of the 30 teams.
